Workout Description
Yoga is the practice of physical postures or poses called "asanas". With increased awareness, the poses become meditation-in-action with awareness of the breath flowing through the body. Each pose has specific benefits. Physical tension and imbalances are brought to attention and begin to release. Many people think that yoga is stretching. But while stretching is certainly involved, yoga is really about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility.

Given the limited time Dawn had to deliver this session (a technical issue in the studio delayed the start of the class) there is no relaxation at the end of the session. We recommend taking a few minutes for some calm and peaceful reflection and cooling down at the end of the session in your own time.
